We use your information for our church directory, to send you email notifications (if you so choose), and to schedule you for a volunteer position during church services. Even if you do not register for email correspondence from HMCC, our system may automatically send you an email reminder that you are scheduled for a volunteer position that coming Sunday if you voluntarily provided us your email address.
We also may use your information in one (or a combination) of the following ways:
- To personalize your website experience;
- To help improve this website;
- To help improve our services to you or interactions with you through this website.
Your information (personally identifiable, or anonymous) will not be sold, transferred, exchanged, or handed out to any individual(s) or organization(s) not directly affiliated with HMCC without your express permission. Before your image or voice is captured while you serve as a worship volunteer, we will make every effort to seek your express permission. Your image and/or voice may be used on this website, the podcast of church services (which may be downloaded to personal devices), used in email correspondence, news articles, or printed works for or by HMCC. If you wish to restrict your image from being used by HMCC by any of the aforementioned mediums, please contact the Board of Directors.
How we keep your information safe
HMCC has gone to great lengths to keep your personal information safe. Sensitive information, such as credit card information, is never stored at our physical address or online systems.
Our online donation program is powered by Razoo, Inc. which employs the industry standard and regulated safe guards to keep your information safe. This includes using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology by VeriSign and is processed directly on their server. Your financial information is never stored or processed on HMCC’s servers.
Cookies are small bits of information web browsers store on your computer to help improve your experience and interactivity with this website. Cookies are used to stay logged in to this website or for personal information to be displayed. Cookies are able to be restricted or turned off via your browsers settings.
